System Assessment Service
During 2003 we launched a new free-of-charge service called the System Assessment Service, or SAS, that is available to both Foundation Systems customers and non customers.
Initially, the SAS focused purely on the SunSystems application, but since then we have added two further services so that we now have:
- SunSystems SAS
- SharpOWL/SunSystems PSA SAS
- Technical SAS
- e-Procurement SAS
The overall goal of a SAS is to identify ways to improve your systems and ensure they fully meet the requirements of your business today, rather than when you first bought the systems.
When you request a SAS we ask you to complete a pre-visit questionnaire, and then one of our consultants will join you at your offices for a half day workshop. During this time we will work through the points raised in the questionnaire. You will have ample opportunity to explain any frustrations you may have with your system, and to discuss any additional capabilities that you would like to make use of.
Where we identify relatively simple problems with a ‘quick fix’, our consultant may demonstrate the solution straight away. More complex issues are documented and submitted as part of a series of recommendations in a post-visit report. Whilst it is not a substitute for a full System Audit, it can go a long way to helping you get more from your systems.
Since it was launched more than 50 customers have taken up the opportunity for a SAS and all have found it beneficial. Here is what some of them said about the SAS:
